Microsoft Traffic
Designing entrypoints across the Microsoft ecosystem to raise conversion.
Problem
Clicks Per View (CPV) was a crucial metric for the team behind MSN Traffic, and it was an evergreen effort to make sure that we could prove to ad partners that we had the audience worth the price.
Solution
During my tenure at Microsoft, I contributed to the design and testing of a number of different cards on the main MSN Homepage and from different entry points from within the Windows ecosystem.
Results
We discovered what problems people were looking to solve with their traffic experience and designed around those to raise CPV. While MSN Traffic is no longer supported, some of the things I worked on (like accident & construction icons) are still visible in Bing Maps.
